'My Daughter Terra'

An anthology edited by Nina Hanz and published by Plaintiff Press, My Daughter Terra gathers writing from many vantage points around the figure of the earth as kin. The collection holds together myth, personal essay, poetry, and speculation, refusing any single account of what it means to be of the ground. The title draws on the ambivalence of inheritance — terra as gift, burden, and something that will outlast us.
